There are certain/a few things that women should never engage in while engaged in a relationship online with a man. These things are certain to put a final end to any further communication with him.

While chatting online or by email do not offer up your life story. His eyes will begin to glaze over and he is certain to tumble out of his chair. Keep things short and sweet until he gets around to asking you for details…then give them to him slowly and only answer those questions he asked. As a case in point: If he asks how many siblings you have, you can be sure he’s NOT asking for any of the details of any interactions you have with them. He only wants to know the number of siblings you have. Simply say you have 2 (or whatever is the right answer) and then ask how many siblings he has. Every time he asks you a questions, you should present him with a question. There’s nothing that turns off a man like a woman who is very long-winded who just doesn’t know when it’s time to be silent or how to listen.

Don’t ever, EVER lie. I believe that lies will catch up with you sooner or later. Lots of women (and a great number of men too) lie about their marital status, employment, height, weight, age and a host of other things in their online profiles. That is a tremendous error to make. If you come upon a man who you are greatly interested in, he will find out that you weren’t honest with him and thrown away the chance of progression in the relationship. So, make sure you’re always honest and truthful. Without a doubt there is someone out there who will take a liking to you…even grow to love you…for precisely the person you are.

Don’t be too eager. It makes you look desperate that really is off putting for a man. They consider themselves first and foremost conquerors and if getting the lady of their desires to like them too is just too easy, they will rapidly stop being interested. I don’t mean play “hard-to-get”. What I’m suggesting is, Be patient and don’t push for a face-to-face meeting. You shouldn’t email them or IM them too often. Always play it safe and play it cool.
